On January 25 of this year, the event was held at the Ministry of Mining and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the participation of a delegation led by the Deputy Minister of Industry, Mining and Trade of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Rizo Mukhtashamiypur.

Also taking part in the event were Deputy Minister of Mining Industry and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan Azam Kadirkhojaev, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Almalyk MMC JSC Murodbek Achilov, as well as representatives of Navoi MMC JSC, Uzbekzargarsanoati Association, Iranian National Copper Production Company, non-ferrous metals mining company "Asia Zarin Madan Co".

During the meeting, representatives of enterprises and companies made presentations, talking about their activities.

Also during the negotiations, the guests received information about the opportunities and benefits provided to foreign investors in our country, and about promising projects being implemented here.

Representatives of the Islamic Republic of Iran showed great interest in the copper industry and the production of products from this metal with high added value. The parties discussed issues of strengthening and developing cooperation, prospects for implementing joint projects.
