It is known that in accordance with the resolution of the UN General Assembly, July 30 is celebrated worldwide as International Friendship Day. In Uzbekistan, on the basis of the law adopted on February 10, 2021, this date is established as the Day of Friendship of Peoples.
In connection with the holiday, a solemn event was held on July 30, during which a congratulatory message from the head of our state to the people of Uzbekistan was read.
In the congratulatory message from the president of our country, it was noted that today the world is in an unstable situation and in such a difficult situation, life itself requires raising the work to a new level to strengthen the atmosphere of mutual respect, kindness and mercy, harmony and cohesion in the country.
It was also emphasized that Uzbekistan has accumulated important experience in the field of managing a multinational and multicultural society, which is of great interest in the world. The policy aimed at strengthening friendship and harmony between representatives of different nations and religions living in the country will be consistently continued.
During the event, a ceremony of presenting the "Khalqlar Dustligi" badges was also held. This year, for her contribution to strengthening the atmosphere of interethnic harmony and friendship between representatives of all nationalities and peoples living in our country, the "Khalqlar Dustligi" badge was awarded to the Chairperson of the Almalyk Branch of the Republican Ukrainian Cultural Center Tatyana Valerievna Chistopolova, Registrar of the Corporate Relations Service of the Executive Office of JSC "Almalyk MMC."
