Yesterday, German Federal Minister of Foreign Affairs Mrs. Annalena Berbock and representatives of a number of German companies visited the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex.
During the visit, the guests visited the Kalmokgyr and Yoshlik-1 mines and got to know the investment projects implemented in the Complex.
Also, leaders of German companies and representatives of business circles inspected the construction process of the 3rd copper enrichment plant, which is being built as part of the Yoshlik-1 megaproject.
Prospective cooperation relations were discussed during the dialogue between the leadership of AMMC and the delegation of the German state.
It is worth mentioning that for several years mutual cooperation relations have been established between the Complex and a number of companies and organizations of the German state.
In particular, in May of this year, a contract was signed with the German company "Metso:Outotec" on the construction of sulfuric acid workshop No. 6 at the Rukh plant.
Also, as part of the investment project "Development of the Yoshlik-1 Mine", gear milling equipment Gleason P2000 and Gleason P8000 was brought from Germany to the Central Repair Mechanical Plant.
In addition, cooperative relations on personnel training have been established between the Complex and the Mining Academy of the Technical University of Freiberg, Germany.
Also, within the framework of the development of the copper industry cluster in the city of Chirchik A joint venture was established in cooperation with AMMC and the German state, this enterprise currently produces products such as copper and copper alloy powder, copper and copper alloy catanka, chemical resistant tanks, galvanized wires and geocomposite polymer pipe.
