Highly qualified personnel for the mining enterprise

It is common knowledge that the success of any enterprise consists of many components, and one of the priorities is highly qualified personnel. That is why AMMC pays great attention to personnel training and retraining.

One of the main subdivisions of the combine is the Khandiza mine administration, whose team is engaged in mining and concentration of polymetallic ores, producing concentrates of copper, zinc and lead. Today is employs 899 people of various specialties. Their training is the most important means of achieving the strategic goals of the ore mining department and AMMC as a whole, increasing the value of human resources.

Since the beginning of 2023, 197 workers from Khandiza mine administration have been trained, including 26 - in the classroom, 61 - in order to improve their qualification level. For 6 months 59 people have successfully increased their grade, 44 employees have received certificates on assignment of professions: drilling rig operator, conveyor operator, underground miner, track fitter, flotation plant operator, mine dump truck driver, pumping unit operator, laboratory technician, etc.

Among the engineers and technicians, 30 people have been trained since the beginning of 2023, 18 of them in the classroom. On-job courses are conducted by visiting instructors from among the qualified specialists of the division.

In the first half of this year, the plan for training of workers was fulfilled by 120.1%, and that of engineers - by 130.4%.

In addition, subdivisions of Khandiza mine administration host pre-graduation practical training and work placement internship, as well as introductory tours for students of such higher educational institutions as Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov, Karshi Institute of Engineering and Economics, Termez Institute of Engineering and Technology, Denau Institute of Entrepreneurship and Pedagogy to consolidate theoretical knowledge and obtain practical skills. This year, 104 students of the above-mentioned universities undertook an internship in Khandiza mine administration.
