Evening of Creativity and Education

On 10 June of this year, the creative evening dedicated to the 35th anniversary of our country's independence was held at the “Metallurg” Palace of Culture. The event was organized in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 2 June 2026, "On Large-Scale Measures for the Further Development of Culture, Art, and Literature," and to support national literature and spiritual and educational work.

The honored guests at the event included people’s favorite poet Guljamol Askarova, winner of several state awards; renowned writer Dilfuza Shomalikova, editor-in-chief of the national children's literary and art magazine "G'uncha," member of the Union of Writers and Journalists of Uzbekistan, and recipient of the "Shukhrat" medal; and other representatives of the creative intelligentsia.

During the evening, Guljamol Askarova recited her best poems dedicated to her homeland, human emotions, and the philosophy of life. Her sincere and heartfelt speech left a lasting impression on the meeting participants.

Addressing the gathering, Dilfuza Shomalikova elaborated on the role of literature in educating the younger generation and fostering a reading culture among children and young people. She also described the work of the magazine's editorial board and shared plans to support talented young authors.

The event's special atmosphere was enhanced by the participation of plant employees, who read works from the poetess's creative legacy.

The meeting was held in the format of a lively and open dialogue. Literature enthusiasts were able to ask questions of interest to the guests and receive answers firsthand.

The most active participants of the evening received books autographed by Gulzhamol Askarova. At the conclusion of the event, representatives of the AMMC presented the distinguished guests with commemorative gifts.
