On November 14 this year, the AMMC copper smelter held a competition for the Best rationalization proposals for improving energy efficiency, reducing production costs, and cutting expenses.

The event was attended by Deputy chairman of the board of JSC “Almalyk MMC” - Chief engineer Sergey Larionov and specialists from the Complex. At this stage, over 2,200 rationalization ideas were presented to the jury, of which 20 of the most promising were selected. The authors of the proposals presented their ideas and successfully defended them before the expert commission. The experts gave their detailed comments on each proposal, and also pointed out the shortcomings and suggested ways to eliminate them.

It was noted at the event that such innovative initiatives are of great importance for the growth of the enterprise, and the management of the plant is always ready to support rationalization initiatives aimed at improving production.
