From October 9 to 11 this year, the Central Asia Expo Exhibition Center in New Tashkent hosted one of the largest events of the year in the fields of science, technology, and startups – the VIII International Innovative Ideas Week, “InnoWeek-2025”.

Under the motto “Ideas Without Borders”, the event showcased the latest developments and technologies not only from local manufacturers but also from companies representing more than 30 countries, including China, Japan, South Korea, Germany, France, India, Iran, and Georgia.

The forum’s main exhibition area, spanning over 15,000 square meters at the Uzbekistan International Exhibition Center, featured nearly 400 innovative projects, startups, and scientific developments, including Almalyk MMC’s own innovative products.

On the opening day, Almalyk MMC specialists participated as moderators in the conference on “Integration of Science and Production: Supporting the Implementation of Research into Industry.”

Over the course of the week, more than 30 scientific and practical events were held, including international forums and national meetings, all aimed at developing the country’s science, technology, and startup ecosystem.

A notable highlight of this year’s forum was the inaugural “InnoWomenWeek”, an innovation week dedicated to female inventors. Participants presented their ideas and projects while exchanging experiences, and prospects for collaboration in science and technology were discussed.

One of the forum’s key directions was the venture funds forum and startup ecosystem support sessions, where experts focused on financing innovations, bringing new ideas to global markets, and developing business models.

According to the organizers, over the past five years, 53 startup projects in Uzbekistan have attracted a total of 145 million USD in investment. This international platform provided leading companies worldwide with opportunities for both scientific and practical experience exchange.

Since its inception in 2018, the “InnoWeek” event has consistently contributed to enhancing the country’s innovation potential, supporting young researchers, and promoting the widespread adoption of modern technologies across various sectors.
