The Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex is increasingly implementing scientific developments and modern technological solutions aimed at increasing of production efficiency and ensuring occupational safety. These were the goals focused on by the practical seminar organized for the Complex specialists.

On May 19 of this year, a practical seminar titled “Modern ventilation systems in production and mines” was held at the Almalyk branch of NUST MISA. The event was aimed at modernization of industrial ventilation systems and improvement of the professional competencies of industry workers.

The lecturer was Associate Professor of the Mining Department, renowned expert Bakhtiyor Baratov. The seminar was attended by 43 engineering, technical, and specialist staff from AMMC structural divisions, who had the opportunity to improve their professional skills and learn about current industry solutions.

During the seminar, participants examined in detail the latest technologies in industrial ventilation, modern safety standards, and ways to improve the energy efficiency of ventilation systems. Particular attention was paid to the fact that proper ventilation in mines and mining facilities plays a key role not only in ensuring worker safety, but also directly impacts the economic efficiency of the enterprise.

The final part of the event went beyond the traditional lecture format and became a platform for lively communication, active discussions, and the exchange of practical experiences. Production representatives had the opportunity to ask the expert questions of interest and receive detailed answers.

The dialogue proved so productive that the Complex specialists invited scientific researcher B. Baratov to visit the Complex structural divisions.

In the future, collaboration and analysis of real production cases and problematic situations will continue directly at work sites – in a practical format.

Such integration of science and production serves as an important factor in the sustainable development of the enterprise.
