On October 6 of this year, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev reviewed a presentation on the development of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in Uzbekistan and their broader introduction across economic and social sectors.

During the presentation, the Head of State emphasized the importance of consistently studying advanced, proven international and domestic experiences to accelerate AI development. He also highlighted the need to establish close cooperation with local specialists, foreign experts, and the private sector to ensure progress in this field.

The Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex (AMMC) has also been carrying out targeted efforts in this direction.

In order to fulfill the tasks set during the meeting, the Department of Production Automation recently hosted a meeting between AMMC specialists and representatives of Fido Business company.

At the meeting, a modern solution for introducing intelligent digital robots (RPA – Robotic Process Automation) in the company’s financial, human resources, and administrative sectors was presented.

The proposed technology aims to automate routine operations such as data entry, sorting, processing, and distribution across various information systems — including 1C, electronic document management systems (EDMS), and other corporate platforms.

According to experts from Fido Business, the use of intelligent digital robots will not only reduce the time required for standard operations but will also significantly enhance the accuracy, reliability, and transparency of business processes.

During the meeting, special attention was given to the integration of the proposed solutions into the enterprise’s existing IT infrastructure, the ease of implementation and operation, and the stability of system performance under high workloads.

As a first step, the parties agreed to launch a pilot project, within which the practical efficiency of digital robots in real working processes will be demonstrated. The pilot project will cover key functions of the finance and HR departments, as well as administrative and clerical operations.

The management of the Department of Production Automation and the Central Accounting Office expressed their support for this initiative and their interest in further cooperation with Fido Business in the field of business process digitalization. The implementation of the pilot project is expected to become an important milestone toward creating a modern, technologically advanced, and highly efficient digital enterprise.
