On the occasion of November 11- Trade Unions Day and the 120th anniversary of the Trade Union Movement of Uzbekistan, the “Trade Union Expert” knowledge contest held among members of the Trade Union Committee of the 3rd Copper Concentrator Plant. The event was organized in a team format and brought together active participants representing various workshops and departments.

The contest consisted of three stages:

Introduction stage – teams presented their names, mottos, and creative reflection of their trade union activities.

Quick question and answer stage – participants demonstrated their knowledge of the history of the trade union movement, labor legislation, and social protection.

Creative stage – teams showcased performances, videos, and sketches illustrating the role and importance of trade unions in today’s society.

At the conclusion of the contest, the jury evaluated the participants based on their knowledge, teamwork, and creativity, and announced the winners.

1^st place – the team from the Copper Molybdenum Concentrate Sorting and Filtration Department.

2^nd place – the Utility Section team.

3^rd place – the Mechanical Repair Department team.

The winners and active participants were awarded certificates and commemorative gifts by the AMMC Employees’ Trade Union Council.

This event served to enrich employees’ understanding of trade unions and to promote the significance of trade unions in social life.
