+998 71 619 23 33In today's rapidly evolving and globalizing world, proficiency in foreign languages is becoming an essential requirement for specialists in practically every industry.
English plays a particularly important role in the mining and metallurgy industries, where studying advanced international practices, mastering new technologies, and effectively interacting with international partners is impossible without high-quality language training.
For this purpose, the specialized English language course in MOOC format was organized for specialists in the mining, metallurgy, and geological industries from 15 February to 31 May of this year. This large-scale educational project was implemented in collaboration with the University of Geological Sciences and the American company World Learning Inc.
MOOC (Massive Open Online Courses) is a popular global platform for mass open online learning, providing professionals with the opportunity to gain high-quality knowledge completely free of charge and without interrupting their work.
Employees of Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex also showed great interest in the educational program. 460 employees registered for the online courses. Following four months of intensive training, practical assignments, and successful completion of final exams, 48 specialists completed the program and received internationally recognized certificates.
Today, the Complex places special emphasis on staff development and supporting employees learning foreign languages through modern online educational platforms.
Notably, the possibility of including employees who successfully complete the program and confirm their English proficiency in the Complex promising talent pool is currently being considered. This will open up additional opportunities for professional growth and career advancement.
