Recently, the AMMC Engineering School hosted international scientific and practical seminars for geologists and other relevant specialists. The event was organized at the initiative of the training center's Personnel Training and Retraining Department.

The representatives of leading universities in the Republic of Kazakhstan, including faculty from the D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University and the S. Utebayev Atyrau University of Oil and Gas, participated in the seminar to exchange experiences and strengthen international cooperation.

More than 50 employees, selected from various divisions of the enterprise, attended a lecture by Kazakh scientist, PhD (Engineering), and Professor Apshikur Baitak on "Key Directions of Scientific Research in Geology and Mineral Resources."

Additionally, Aliya Abilgaziyeva, the senior lecturer at the Atyrau University of Oil and Gas, presented the paper on "Developing the Educational and Infrastructural Potential of Geological Research in Central Asia."

Qualified specialists and employees from various divisions of the AMMC participated in the seminar. The participants discussed with international scientists the prospects for development of the geological industry in the Central Asian region, as well as issues related to improving the educational and infrastructure base of the industry.

Aliya Abilgazieva, senior lecturer at Atyrau University of Oil and Gas:

- We arrived in Almalyk as part of the international summer school project “KazUzGeo”. This project is based on cooperation between mining universities of the two countries, and its main goal is the exchange of experience and knowledge. Today, we visited the Qalmaqir and Yoshlik mines, where we learned in detail about ore extraction processes. For our students, this was an excellent opportunity to consolidate their theoretical knowledge in practice and gain new professional skills. As part of the visit's program, we also held a seminar at the engineering school and shared our experience with colleagues. We are confident that the implementation of such projects contributes to strengthening cooperation between universities and industry and the training of highly qualified specialists.

The meeting, held at the engineering school, marked another important step in improving the qualifications of the plant's employees and introducing modern scientific approaches into production activities.
