On June 25 of this year, a training workshop on the topic “A new approach to media coverage of geology, mining and metallurgy, communications, and quick exchange of information” was organized at the University of Geological Sciences.

Press secretaries and senior staff working in the information services of subordinate organizations, institutions and enterprises of the Ministry of Mining and Geology participated in this workshop.

In the workshop, the head of the department of the Information and Mass Communications Agency M. Parpiev, the lead specialist of the information service of the agency M. Fayziev and the head of the information service of Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex JSC U. Karshiboeva have demonstrated presentations on working with the media, the importance of knowledge of legal regulatory documents, creating the image of the organization, responding to newsworthy events, the publication procedure for refutations, aspects that need to be paid attention to when creating media content, actions in crisis situations, the development of a PR strategy and the use of external means of communication.

In addition, recommendations are given on the maintenance of official websites, which should be paid attention to when transmitting information to the public through social networks.

During the training workshop, experts and participants exchanged opinions on the topic, shared their skills and discussed issues of interest to them.
