These days, we celebrate with great enthusiasm the 32nd anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan – the Basic Law, which is a guarantee and a solid legal foundation for our peaceful and prosperous life.
Each article of the Constitution reflects the generally recognized norms of international law, the legal practice of developed foreign countries, the traditions of Uzbek statehood, centuries-old national customs, historical experience and humanistic ideas of our great ancestors.
On December 6 of this year, on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the festive event under the motto "The Constitution is the guarantor of a free and prosperous life!" was held at the “Metallurg” palace of culture in Almalyk, during which the above thoughts were voiced.
The event was attended by the management of the Almalyk mining and metallurgical complex and responsible persons of the Almalyk town administration, the plant staff, veterans, as well as city activists and representatives of the media.
As the speakers noted, the Constitution of independent Uzbekistan, which embodies advanced national and universal ideas and reflects the interests of the entire people and all segments of the population, marked the beginning of a new stage in the development of our country.
In recent years, we have become convinced of the strength of the foundations of our Constitution, which is a mirror of the political and legal thinking and intellect of our people, as well as its full compliance with international standards.
Our responsibility is to continuously and thoroughly study the Constitution, turning it into a fundamental guideline for all aspects of our lives. It is on the basis of these principles that we must exercise our rights and freedoms, while always respecting the honor and dignity of others.
As part of the event, the winners of the competitions dedicated to Constitution Day were awarded certificates of honor and memorable gifts.
The participants were especially impressed by the exhibition of handicrafts organized by preschoolers and schoolchildren of Almalyk and the plant.
The concert program of amateur art groups from the “Metallurg” palace of culture created a festive atmosphere, leaving vivid impressions on all those present.
