In recent years, our country has been consistently implementing a series of large-scale reforms aimed at combating corruption in all its forms, preventing conflicts of interest, and ensuring transparency in government activities.

For these purposes, systematic training and explanation activities are being conducted among specialists in various fields, aimed at strengthening the principles of integrity and raising the level of legal awareness.

As part of this effort, the preventive event was recently held at AMMC zinc smelter. Participants included Diyorbek Karimov, Deputy Imam-Khatib of the Ramazoni Sharif Mosque; Lieutenant Colonel Davron Abdurakhmanov, the officer of AMMC Internal Affairs Department, Gulnoza Sabrieva, the AMMC compliance specialist; and the staff from the Complex workshops and sections.

The meeting was held in an open dialogue format. The participants discussed the issues of countering religious extremism, the negative impact of destructive religious movements, and measures to prevent and effectively combat corruption.

The Compliance Service specialist Gulnoza Sabrieva emphasized that the Complex anti-corruption system is being consistently improved. Specifically, in 2025, to prevent conflicts of interest, the list of state organizations exempted from restrictions on family members working together was approved. For the first time, this list included employees of mining and metallurgical enterprises.

In accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 12 January 2022, "On measures to implement the rating system for assessing the effectiveness of anti-corruption efforts," the Complex scored 89 points by the end of 2025. This system, implemented in May 2021, is certified in accordance with the international standard ISO 37001:2016, as well as national standards.

The similar measures are being consistently implemented across all the structural divisions of the Complex. They examine in detail the issues of preventing and resolving conflicts of interest, combating corruption, and also explain the content of the Address of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Oliy Majlis dated 26 December 2025.
