AMMC: strengthening the anti-corruption management system

21 April 2026, 15:17 221

The Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex continues its consistent work to combat corruption and ensure openness and transparency in production processes.

In particular, in March-April 2026, specialized online courses hosted by the Virtual Anti-Corruption Academy were organized for 32 specialists of the plant.

It should be noted that within the 36-hour program, participants received the necessary theoretical training.

The primary goal of the advanced distance learning course on “Ensuring the Effective Functioning of an Anti-Corruption Management System” is to develop a fundamental intolerance of corrupt practices among employees, familiarize them with international standards and current changes in national legislation, and develop practical skills in preventing conflicts of interest.

The training conducted through the Virtual Academy platform was based on modern information technologies and provided employees with a number of practice-oriented opportunities.

Specifically: interactive case studies – analyzing real-life situations to identify corruption risks; international experience – studying advanced anti-corruption practices adapted to the plant’s operations; testing – consolidating knowledge acquired and assessing its assimilation.

AMMC’s management emphasizes that such initiatives, aimed at improving the legal culture of employees, contribute to strengthening the company's business reputation in the international arena and increasing its investment attractiveness.
