In any society there are vices that not only affect individual areas, but undermine the progress of the entire state. Corruption and bribery are among such destructive phenomena that destroy state institutions from within. History has repeatedly demonstrated how corruption has become the cause of deep crisis and decline of many countries.

Corruption is the abuse of official position for personal gain or to provide unjustified assistance to others, whether in material or non-material form. Using one’s position for personal gain, in violation of the law, causes serious damage to both individual organizations and society as a whole. Our legislation provides for strict measures for such cases, and the inevitability of punishment is a key principle in the fight against this phenomenon.

Only decisive and consistent actions against corruption can guarantee stable and sustainable development of the state, creating conditions for prosperity and justice.

This was discussed at an event held on November 15 of this year among workers of the copper processing plant on the topic “The fight against corruption is the basis for the sustainable development of the country!”

The event was attended by the senior inspector for women's issues of the Almalyk department of internal affairs, Lieutenant colonel Gulnoza Sabrieva, investigator of the investigation department of the Almalyk department of internal affairs, major Alijon Narmenov.

During the event, the chairperson of the advisory council on women and gender equality of the CCP Malokhat Dostova made a report.

Statistics on crimes committed by women over 10 months were also presented.
