From November 4 to 7 this year, the Uzbekistan cup in belt kurash among teenagers and adults was held in the city of Fergana.

Our athletes, students of the Department of physical culture and sports of the AMMC Trade union council, who wrestle under the guidance of experienced coach Bakhodir Sheranov, also took part in this competition.

In particular, Mekhrob Toshpulatov left no chance for his opponents in the 35 kg weight category. Ortikjon Yuldoshev and Asilbek Abdukhalilov won silver medals in the 62 kg and 65 kg categories. Sherbek Abdugafforov won the competition among 77 kg athletes. In the 90 kg category among adults, Jumadulla Israilov won the Uzbekistan cup.

Among women in the 66 kg and 76 kg weight categories, the first places were taken by Bibigavkhar Pulatboeva and Gulkumar Jannazarova.

In the overall team standings, AMMC wrestlers won 7 medals - 5 gold and 2 silver.
