It is known that Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine has been establishing mutually beneficial cooperation relations with many foreign higher educational institutions.
In particular, cooperation relations were established with OKMK and Japan's Akita University, as part of cooperation, teachers and students of the university visited the combine.
On September 20 of this year, a delegation led by Professor Atsushi Shibayama of Akita University in Japan came to our city for an introductory internship at the combine, as part of the "KIZUNA" program implemented by the Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA) in Uzbekistan.
The representatives of the sunny country first visited the Kalmoqqir and Yoshlik-1 mines and got acquainted with the technological production processes.
In addition, a roundtable discussion on "Prospects of International Cooperation" was held at "Metallurg" MS with the participation of members of the foreign delegation and chief experts of the combine.
On September 23, the guests visited the "Khondiza" mining department located in the Surkhan oasis and got to know the production processes of the mining and beneficiation factory.
The guests, who are scheduled to stay in our country until September 26 of this year, are also scheduled to visit the Angren Mining Department and the Technological Metals Combine of Uzbekistan during their visit.
