The event was attended by the head of the department for ensuring fire safety of AMMC facilities A. Akhrorov, the head of the Automobile Transport Department A. Saidkadirov, his deputy for the safety of inventory D. Khamzaev, as well as the heads and employees of motor depots No. 1 and No. 2.
During the meeting, the causes of fires that occurred in the first quarter of 2025 in the divisions of AMMC, the need for re-checking and replacement of electrical wiring on all vehicles, as well as preparation for the summer season were discussed.
“In the first quarter of this year, two fires occurred at the Complex facilities,” A. Akhrorov reported. – The main reason is failure to comply with basic fire safety rules. If every employee strictly adheres to these standards, such situations can be avoided.
He emphasized the importance of careful handling of electrical equipment, heating devices and flammable substances, as well as the need to monitor the technical condition of fire-fighting equipment – fire extinguishers, alarm systems, etc.
The event also noted the need to strengthen explanatory work among employees on fire safety issues. Particular attention should be paid to the condition of electrical wiring in vehicles that have been operated for a long time. Worn wires must be replaced in a timely manner.
They also reminded about the measures to prepare for the summer season: clearing the area of dry grass, storing worn tires in safe conditions. In case of fire, you must immediately call 70-01.
In conclusion, A. Saidkadirov spoke, emphasizing the importance of timely replacement of electrical wiring in vehicles according to the approved schedule, and also drew attention to the need to ensure that the equipment in the fire-fighting corners of repair areas is fully equipped and in good working order.
