On October 8 this year, a delegation headed by the Director of the Agency for Innovative Development of Uzbekistan, Sharof Rajabbaev, visited the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex. During the meeting organized between the guests and the management of AMMC, issues of establishing cooperation were discussed.

Acting Director of the Center for Implementation of Innovative Technologies, Amir Abidov, made a presentation on the topic of “Innovative “driver” projects implemented at AMMC in 2023-2026”. During the meeting, a report was also heard from the Deputy Chief Engineer of JSC Almalyk MMC for Science Abdirashid Khasanov on the involvement of research institutions in solving production problems.

During the visit, the guests also visited the viewing platforms of the “Kalmakyr” and “Yoshlik I” mines and got acquainted with the progress of construction of the copper processing plant-3.
