On April 14-15 this year, the V International Championship "BELAZ Challenge-2025" was held in the city of Zhodino (Belarus).

Teams from 10 leading technical universities of Russia and Belarus took part in the competition. Among them was the team of the Almalyk branch of the National Research Technological University "MISiS".

The fourth-year students of the branch – Mukhriddin Jumakulov, Kirill Ivanov and Doniyor Elyorov – decently represented their university, demonstrating a high level of knowledge, creativity and unconventional thinking.

Following the results of the competition, the guys took an honorable third place in the student league, scoring 51 points. Thanks to systematic and intensive training, our students were awarded a record number of nominations:

The most creative video business card;

The most unconventional approach to solving the case "Thermal condition of internal combustion engines (ICE)";

Recognition of the student league;

Victory in the photo contest "BELAZ in Focus".

The team from Uzbekistan beat participants from MISiS (Moscow), Siberian Federal University, Murmansk Arctic University, Ural State Mining University (Russia), as well as Gomel State Technical University and Belarusian National Technical University.

Following the championship, students from the Almalyk branch were awarded honorary badges, diplomas and valuable prizes.
