Speaking at a videoconference on 20 June 2024, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized: "For the accelerated development of the economy, we need highly qualified engineers and technologists like air." In this regard, the training of young specialists with practical knowledge and a scientific approach has been identified as one of the priority tasks in various sectors of the country.

As part of this state strategy, an engineering school, which is the result of initiatives to develop human resources, is successfully operating at JSC “Almalyk MMC”. Here, training is based on a combination of theory and practice, as close as possible to the production environment.

Recently, graduates of the school, who completed 10-month advanced training courses in the areas of metallurgy, mining, mechanics and energy, received diplomas of completion. The training was attended by 42 employees with higher education, selected from various structural divisions of the plant. The courses started in May 2024 and ended in March 2025. The final certification was held in three stages:

1. Testing on the training profile;
2. Defense of the final qualification work;
3. Answers to practical questions related to labor protection and professional activities.

All those who successfully passed the exams were included in the personnel reserve of the plant, which creates a solid foundation for their further professional growth.

In the context of the growing need for engineering and technical personnel, the engineering school is becoming not just an educational platform, but a center that unites knowledge, practice and innovation, forming specialists who are able to build the future today.

After all, the foundation of the New Uzbekistan is highly educated, practice-oriented and competitive personnel.
