As is known, since May 2024, the football school at FC “AGMK” has been gradually assigned the status of a football academy, and in May, the construction of an additional field with artificial turf was completed on the territory of the “Metallurg” sports complex stadium.

On october 31, on the eve of the celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Almalyk mining and metallurgical complex , another field was handed over to the young students of the football school.

The artificial field of the AMMC sports complex was reconstructed and put into operation with a new artificial turf manufactured by a Turkish company. This turf meets the modern FIFA requirements.

The opening ceremony of the new FIFA 105x68 football field was attended by the Chairman of the Board of JSC “Almalyk MMC” Abdulla Khursanov and the Head of the children's and youth football development program of FC “AGMK” Denis Khomutov, emphasizing that more and more attention is being paid to football in our country, and the reconstructed new pitch will serve to train young football players throughout their entire career.

During the event, it was also noted that in order to select high-class personnel for the FC “AGMK” Football academy, after studying the resumes of specialists from different countries, the Ukrainian specialist Denis Khomutov, who has a UEFA Pro license and has experience in children's football, was appointed the Head of the children's and youth football development program of FC “AGMK”. The number of coaches has increased from 8 to 30.

Specially created methods designed for each age category are being introduced into the training process, practical and theoretical classes are conducted according to the programs prepared by Denis Khomutov. In this he is closely assisted by Suyun Murtazaev, who previously managed the work of the football school.

Thus, the school is working to improve the quality of the educational and training process, which over time will give a positive result in the preparation of young players and in the development of football in general.
