The Anti-Corruption Agency held a meeting of the commission to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of work in the field of ensuring openness.

At the meeting, all indicators collected based on the results of 2024 within the framework of the "Openness Index", developed in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. UP-154, were discussed in detail. The results of the activities of government agencies and organizations to ensure transparency were considered.

Based on the assessment results, Joint-Stock Company “Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex ” showed the highest results and took 1st place in the republic with 91.8 points.

In addition, AMMC once again became the leader among all joint-stock companies in the country.

For information: The index is formed on the basis of 8 indicators and 84 evaluation criteria. This year, the assessment process covered 98 executive bodies of the republican level - ministries, committees, agencies, inspections and local authorities.

According to the results:

50 government agencies received the status of "green" (in 2023 - 31),

35 – "yellow" (in 2023 - 43),

13 – "red" (in 2023 - 29).

We remind that "Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex " with 86.8 points (the maximum indicator is 88.7) took 1^st place in the Openness Index-2023 among other joint-stock companies of the country.

Among government agencies and organizations of the republic, AMMC showed the 2nd result.
