From May to June, Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex conducted a large-scale series of preventative measures as part of the "Striking 30 Days" program. Their main goal was to enhance legal awareness and legal culture among employees, strengthen a healthy spiritual and moral environment within the team, and ensure the rule of law.

The preventative meetings covered 39 structural divisions of the AMMC. Participants included Doniyor Kayumov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of AMMC for Security, the officers of the State Security Service for Tashkent Region, the representative of the Committee on Religious Affairs in Almalyk, Jamshid Pardayev, Advisor on Religious Affairs of the Head of town administration, Davronbek Khamzaev, Head of the AMMC Security Department, senior employees of the AMMC, and the officers of the Internal Affairs Department of the Tashkent Region Main Directorate of Internal Affairs at AMMC.

During the events, participants were provided with information on a number of relevant areas:

- countering religious extremism, terrorism, and radicalism;

- Cybersecurity and the proper use of social media;

- Improving legal literacy, preventing offenses, and adhering to internal company rules.

During the meetings, real-life examples were shared of people who, having fallen for scams and false promises, found themselves in difficult life situations. Participants were shown special videos, which reiterated the importance of vigilance and responsibility.

The speakers explained in detail the true nature and malicious goals of extremist and radical movements. Particular attention was paid to the fact that, in the face of growing global threats, maintaining peace and stability in the country and strengthening an atmosphere of mutual respect and interethnic harmony is the shared duty of every citizen.

One of the central topics of the meetings was work with young people. Representatives of the younger generation were urged to be attentive to false promises and virtual traps, to remain faithful to national traditions and spiritual values. It was emphasized that the main guidelines of modern youth are quality education, conscientious work, active participation in the country’s development processes and the desire to become highly qualified specialists in their field.

In the context of the rapid development of technology, issues of countering modern types of fraud, especially cybercrime, become particularly relevant. In this regard, experts recalled key digital security measures:

- under no circumstances transfer bank card data and confidential SMS codes to strangers;

- do not trust false information on the Internet and do not follow suspicious links;

- remember the risks and threats that may be hidden behind online games and virtual services.

During the open dialogue, representatives of law enforcement agencies also focused on the facts of previously identified offenses in the plant’s divisions and reminded that responsibility for any illegal act is inevitable.

Separately, it was emphasized that each employee is obliged to strictly comply with the internal rules of the enterprise, and when using Internet resources to exercise responsibility, caution and critical thinking.

Such large-scale preventive measures help to increase the legal literacy of workers and the formation of sustainable immunity not only to the threats of the digital environment, but also to various destructive ideas that a person may encounter in everyday life.
