+998 71 619 23 33Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex continues its “Intensive 40 Days” preventative campaign, aimed at increasing the legal and financial literacy of its employees and preventing involvement in online gambling.
The latest meetings were held recently at Copper Processing Plant-2 and the Technological Transport Department.
The events were attended by employees of the AMMC Interior Affairs Department, the representatives of banking sector, and the Deputy Imam of the Hilol Cathedral Mosque, Saidmuhammadhon Maidinhonov.
During the meetings, the participants were informed about the most common types of cybercrime and their negative impact, particularly on young people. Particular attention was paid to the consequences of online gambling and bookmaking. Using real-life examples, specialists illustrated the financial and social problems that such addiction can lead to.
Bank representatives explained the rules for the proper use of credit funds, discussed the responsibilities of guarantors, and the fundamentals of financial discipline. It was also noted that fraudsters are increasingly taking out online loans in the names of individuals, illegally obtaining their personal information and bank card confirmation codes. Employees were reminded of the need to observe basic digital security measures: under no circumstances should they disclose SMS codes to strangers or click on suspicious links.
Furthermore, the meeting addressed issues of respect for the men of labor, adherence to working discipline, freedom of conscience, and fostering a healthy work environment.
Particular emphasis was placed on the fact that careful handling of the company's property, as well as a principled position regarding theft and other offenses, are the responsibility of every employee.
Such systematic preventative measures contribute to improving the legal culture and financial literacy of the Complex employees.
