AMMC Builders Honored

10 August 2026, 10:25 389

In our country, there is a wonderful tradition of celebrating the work of those who build the country's future with their own hands – the workers of the construction industry – on the second Sunday of August. This year, the celebration for the Complex builders brought together guests at the "Guzal" celebration complex.

Gathered around a generously laid dastarkhan (table), industry veterans and the workforce were warmly congratulated by Sadi Shermatov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors for Human Resources and Social Affairs of JSC “Almalyk MMC” In his speech, he emphasized that it is the construction workers' difficult and honorable work that forms the foundation upon which the Complex economic strength and development rests.

According to the relevant order of the Chairman of the Board of Directors at JSC “Almalyk MMC”, a whole group of industry representatives, who have served as example for others through their long years of honest and dedicated work, were honored with these worthy awards. Five top performers were awarded the "Miner's Glory" badge, 3rd degree, and ten received the plant's Certificates of Honor.

Furthermore, the AMMC Trade Union Council ceremoniously presented valuable commemorative gifts to twenty workers who made significant contributions to the industry's development.

The vibrant concert program, masterfully prepared by the creative teams of the “Metallurg” Palace of Culture, created a festive atmosphere and unforgettable impressions.

For reference: today, the Complex successfully operates such major creative divisions as the “Olmalikmetallurgkurilish” Trust, the Specialized Repair Works Department, and the Design and Capital Construction Department.

Thanks to the high professionalism and dedication of AMMC's builders, the high-technology Kauldy gold recovery plant was successfully built in a very short time. Today, the Complex construction workers are working on a new sulfuric acid plant at the Zinc Plant, as well as on a new, modern enrichment complex at Copper Processing Plant-2.

In addition to industrial facilities, the Complex construction workers have created the modern recreation area in a picturesque corner of the Zaamin Mountains, and the Dukent Sports and Cultural Palace in the town of Angren has been completely transformed.
