Thanks to the efforts of the workers of the Department's agricultural production and fodder production section, this year 229.2 hectares of wheat have been planted, 86 hectares of corn, 176 hectares of corn silage, 110 hectares of triticale, and 116 hectares of alfalfa have been sown, and a bountiful harvest is currently being harvested.
As a value inherent in our people, the veterans, workers, and luminaries who have worked in the Department before the good deeds of the past and present invited them to a rich feast. Hands open to prayer wished peace and tranquility for the country, prosperity for the people, and abundance for our tables.
This year, the Complex's grain growers have planted wheat seeds on 185.7 hectares of irrigated land and 43.5 hectares of dry land. Today, these wheat fields, which are full of ears of corn, are being planted with Complexs and transport equipment. Harvesting is in full swing.
Our grain growers, who plan to harvest 55 centners per hectare from irrigated land and 25 centners per hectare from dry land, will also harvest fodder for 1,256 head of cattle at the Complex's dairy farm.
On the area of more than 55 hectares, the Complex's gardeners are cultivating and growing fruits such as plums, apples, peaches, and pears. Soon, these fruits will be delivered to the Complex's kindergartens, camps, and shops.
Also, within the framework of the national project "Green Space", 140 thousand poplar seedlings and 4 thousand different grape seedlings are being grown on an area of 2 hectares.
The Complex's farmers, who make effective use of our land, which yields abundant crops four times a year, have taken up the idea of repeated planting of crops on the lands that were left vacant. This season, they plan to plant carrots, pumpkins, tomatoes, cucumbers, mung beans and greens for the Complex's employees.
Our farmers, who want to contribute to the export potential of the Complex, have begun to grow the best varieties of melons and watermelons.
In short, Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex is making a worthy contribution not only to the development of the mining and metallurgical industry, but also to the implementation of the country's food program.
