Today, on the eve of the Day of Workers of the Mining and Metallurgical Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the solemn ceremony was held in the Akhangaran district to launch the construction of the joint venture HG-AMMC LLC, implemented in cooperation with Huigong (Hebei) Machinery Group Co., Ltd (People's Republic of China).

The event was attended by the management of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine, the President and specialists of the Huigong (Hebei) Machinery Group Co., Ltd., as well as representatives of the general public.

As noted at the event, this enterprise is the result of agreements reached during the official visit of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the People's Republic of China in January of this year.

This joint venture will implement the project “Production of spare parts for mining machines.” The cost of this project is 23 million US dollars, and the annual production capacity will be 37.5 million US dollars. The partner company will produce more than 282 types of spare parts for mining machines.

The products produced will primarily cover the needs of the local market. In the future, it will also be exported.

It is worth noting that the construction of the joint venture will create 150 new jobs. The implementation of the project will be a significant contribution to achieving new successes in the industrial sector of Uzbekistan and will contribute to economic growth.

At the end of the event, a symbolic ribbon was cut, marking the start of construction work.

The President of the company Qung Qiling told about the project and the future plants of Huigong (Hebei) Machinery Group Co., Ltd.: “Why did we choose Uzbekistan? First of all, you need to recognize that your country has created ample opportunities for investors. In addition, cooperation between Uzbekistan and China is developing from year to year. In particular, the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the PRC further strengthened ties between both sides. It is also of interest to us that Uzbekistan is located in the center of Central Asia, where there is a favorable business environment. This project is the first line of our cooperation. Today we held negotiations with the management of AMMC about other projects that we plan to implement in the future. I am confident that the joint venture, the construction of which we launched today, will be a beneficial cooperation for both parties.
