According to the already established tradition, the end of the season for motocross athletes was participation in a tournament with the sonorous name of the Uzbekistan Supermotocross Cup, organized by the “Vatanparvar” Defense Assistance Organization.

The Tashkent region was represented by the team of the Sports and Techniques Club (STC) of the social facilities department of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex.

The head coach of STC, multiple champion of Uzbekistan, and winner of international tournaments Andrey Sazonov spoke about the successes of our motocross riders: “By tradition, the Uzbekistan Supermotocross Cup competitions complete the season and take place on the track in Tashkent. The track is very difficult and can only be completed by experienced racers who have good physical, psychological and tactical training. This time, the competition of the strongest racers from all over the country took place on December 6-7. Athletes from STC of AMMC performed well in all classes. Thus, in the class of motorcycles with an engine capacity of 125 cubic centimeters among young men, third place was taken by Ilnur Umerbekov. In the ChZ motorcycle class, Shevket Suleymanov won third place. In the most prestigious class on motorcycles with an engine capacity of 500 cub.cm, Emran Ablyazov finished second, and Sergey Vinogradov came third. Thus, based on the total number of points scored, the STC team of AMMC took the honorable first place in the team event. But despite the fact that the season is officially over, our athletes proceed with trainings, as a new national championship will start in February, where AMMC racers will try to justify their titles as champions of the republic.”
