Today, April 1, the Anti-Corruption Agency held a meeting of the Commission to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of the work being carried out in the field of ensuring openness.

During the meeting, the indicators recorded by government agencies in the openness index for 2023 were discussed in detail and made public.

The index covered the activities of 103 (86 in 2022) government institutions and organizations, and was formed on the basis of 8 indicators made up of 84 evaluation criteria.

According to the assessment results, more than 30 institutions and organizations recorded a “green” performance result (71-100 points), 43 – “yellow” (55-71 points) and 29 – “red” (below 55 points).

It is noteworthy that the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex joint-stock company with 86.8 points (the maximum score is 88.3) took first place in the Openness Index 2023 among other joint-stock companies in the country.

Among the government bodies and organizations of the republic, AMMC showed the second result.
