23 October 2024, 12:50 751

Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex (AMMC) continues to develop cooperation with leading higher educational institutions of Uzbekistan. This partnership is aimed at training young specialists ready to work in high-tech production.

Interaction with educational institutions allows the Complex to provide itself with qualified personnel, and students to undergo practical training at one of the largest industrial enterprises in the region.

Thus, on October 21, a large delegation consisting of rectors and directors of various universities visited the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex: Umid Turdaliev (Andijan Institute of Mechanical Engineering), Farrukh Mukhtarov (Fergana branch of the Tashkent University of Information Technologies), Nozimjon Tuychiboev (Andijan Economic and Construction Institute), Sharibboy Ergashev (Namangan Civil Engineering Institute), Odiljon Mamatkarimov (Namangan Engineering and Technology Institute), Uktam Salomov (Fergana Polytechnic Institute), Kurbanali Kholikov (Namangan Institute of Textile Industry), Rustambek Tojiev (International Institute of Food Technology and Engineering) and Muzaffar Maksudov (Kokand branch of the Tashkent State Technical University).

The delegation that visited the Complex also included representatives of various enterprises that are industrial partners of the above-mentioned universities. The delegation began their acquaintance with AMMC with a visit to the engineering school, which trains highly qualified engineering specialists. The school uses advanced teaching methods and practical classes, which allows students to master modern technologies necessary for work in the industry.

The next stage of the program was a visit to the viewing platforms of the “Kalmakyr” and “Yoshlik I” mines, where the guests were able to clearly see the ore mining process.

In addition, the delegation got acquainted with the progress of construction of the new copper concentrator-3 and the implementation of the investment project for the development of the “Yoshlik I” deposit, which is aimed at increasing the volume of ore mining and processing. The commissioning of the new factory will significantly increase processing volumes, which in turn will help strengthen the country’s position in the global market.

The visit to the central repair and mechanical plant, which is the main executor of the Localization Program at AMMC, has ended. The guests got acquainted with its production facilities, where modern equipment is used to perform repair and production tasks of varying complexity. The high level of automation and innovative technologies used at the plant made a great impression on the delegation.

During the visit, representatives of the enterprises noted the impressive scale of AMMC production and the implementation of ambitious investment projects.
