+998 71 619 23 33Since 2025, at the initiative and with financial support from the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex, the sacred pilgrimage site of Kirkkizota in the Pskent district has been improved, offering residents ample opportunities to visit.
At the initiative of members of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, deputies of the Legislative Chamber, and the management of JSC Almalyk MMC, this ancient site has been transformed into a well-appointed place, attracting people with its atmosphere.
The “Three Generations” meeting held here in honor of May 9th, Remembrance and Honor Day, took on special significance. At the beginning of the event, elders recited verses from the Quran and offered prayers for peace and tranquility in the country.
Speaking at the meeting, Kizilgul Kosimova, a member of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, noted that for many years this site had been neglected, but thanks to the plant, it had quickly acquired a new appearance. She praised the conditions created for pilgrims and expressed gratitude to the management of the Complex for such a noble undertaking.
Sadi Shermatov, Deputy Chairman of the Board for Human Resources and Social Affairs at the JSC Almalyk MMC, emphasized that the Complex will continue to support social issues. He also noted that work to preserve and improve historical monuments and sacred sites will continue, a clear embodiment of the principle “In the Name of Human Value”.
Members of the Metallurg Palace of Culture’s creative team performed beautiful songs and melodies during the event. Furthermore, a group of workers who actively participated in the improvement work were awarded commemorative gifts.
Thus, such initiatives serve not only to restore historical memory but also to elevate human dignity and preserve the national heritage for future generations. The renovated Kirkkizota is becoming not just a place of worship, but also a symbol of spirituality and good deeds.
