On the first Sunday of August, Uzbekistan traditionally celebrates the Day of Railway Transport Workers. On the occasion of the professional holiday a solemn event was held for the team of Industrial Railway Transport Department of JSC “Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex”.

On behalf of the management of the Complex, the industry workers were congratulated by Sadi Shermatov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC “Almalyk MMC” for Personnel and Social Issues. He thanked the railway workers for their conscientious work, high professionalism and significant contribution to the stable operation of the enterprise, wishing them new success and prosperity.

In honor of the holiday, according to the order of the Chairman of the Board of AMMC, three employees were awarded the “Konchilik Shuhrati” (“Miner’s Glory”) badge of various degrees. Six more employees were awarded Certificates of Honor, and eleven were rewarded with valuable gifts.

The festive atmosphere was provided to the event participants by the artist teams of the “Metallurg” Palace of Culture, who prepared a vibrant concert program.

The IRTD team celebrates their professional holiday with decent production results. According to the results of the first half of this year, the division transported 13.796 million cubic meters of rock mass and 21.83 million tons of ore.

At the same time, the implementation of the Localization Program continues. In cooperation with domestic enterprises, the production of dump cars model 2BC-105 (Q-115) has been developed. By the end of this year, it is planned to put into operation another 9.5 kilometers of railway tracks.

Significant results were also achieved in the area of ​​increasing production efficiency. Thanks to energy saving measures and the introduction of innovative solutions, production costs were reduced by 54 billion UZS in the first half of the year. In addition, the rationalization proposals of management employees provided an additional economic effect in the amount of 22 billion UZS.
