Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex, one of the largest industrial enterprises in Uzbekistan, plays an important role not only in development of the domestic economy of the country, but also in the expansion of international industrial ties.

Today, the Complex actively cooperates with foreign companies, introducing modern technologies, increasing production efficiency and working to ensure environmental sustainability.

On May 29 of this year, the meeting with the representatives of the Czech company Draslovka was held at AMMC, during which the prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation were discussed.

For reference: Draslovka is a family company founded in 1906 in the Czech Republic. It is engaged in the production of chemical technologies, products and services that increase efficiency and sustainability in the mining, agricultural and Concentrator industries. The company has business units in 7 countries and representative offices in more than 80 countries.

Draslovka is the world's largest producer of sodium cyanide, a chemical necessary for gold mining. However, its key contribution to the industry is considered to be its patented glycine leaching technology. This method allows the process to be carried out more stably and cost-effectively.

It also produces other specialty chemicals and reagents and provides class-leading services for the application of chemicals for the mining industry and pest control, as well as support services using artificial intelligence.

During the visit, the guests made a presentation on their activities to the management of AMMC. During the negotiations, the parties discussed the possibilities of using glycine leaching technology at the Complex’s enterprises and reached an agreement to begin cooperation.

The guests also visited the viewing platforms of the Kalmakyr and Yoshlik I mines.

Such international connections strengthen AMMC's position as a competitive and reliable partner in the global industrial arena.
