Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex  (AMMC) has maintained mutually beneficial partnership relations with the Finnish company Metso for many years.

In particular, in August 2024, AMMC and Metso signed contracts for the supply of equipment and provision of design services for the new metallurgical complex under construction. This cooperation is aimed at introducing advanced technologies from leading global manufacturers.

As part of the development of cooperation, on April 22 of this year, the plant was visited by Metso President for Europe and Central Asia Renaud Lapointe.

During the negotiations with the AMMC management, issues of modernization and expansion of the production capacities of copper processing plants No. 1 and 2, as well as the prospects for copper processing plants No. 3 and 4, as well as a metallurgical project, were discussed.

During the meeting, which was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, the parties confirmed their desire to further strengthen and develop cooperation.
