On 15 June of this year, the delegation from China Nonferrous Metal Industry's Foreign Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd. (NFC), one of the largest and most reputable companies in the Chinese mining industry, visited the Complex.
During the visit, the guests first learned about the operations of AMMC engineering school, which specializes in training highly qualified personnel. The representatives from the Chinese company were shown the training facilities, and specialists explained in detail the dual education system operating at the Complex and answered all their questions.
Ore mining and transportation operations at the Qalmaqir and Yoshlik I mines were of particular interest to the delegation.
During the meeting between the management of AMMC and NFC, the parties discussed the prospects for implementing innovative technologies in the mining industry, jointly financing investment projects, and constructing new production facilities. The representatives of the Chinese company praised the scale of the Complex production potential and expressed their willingness to offer modern engineering solutions for the further development of the deposits.
General Director of NFC Tang Yaoyu noted:

The active development of new deposits is particularly impressive. For reference: China Nonferrous Metal Industry's Foreign Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd. was founded in 1983 and is today one of the world leaders in metallurgical resource development and international project management. The company covers the full production and technological cycle in non-ferrous metallurgy, from design, procurement, construction, and personnel training to geological exploration, mining, ore beneficiation and finished product manufacturing. NFC has over 30 branches in over 20 countries. The company currently holds copper reserves of 11.92 million tons, has the smelting capacity of 1.4 million tons of copper per year and produces approximately 1.48 million tons of metal products annually.
Furthermore, at the Tashkent International Investment Forum held in Tashkent, JSC “Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex” and China Nonferrous Metal Industry's Foreign Engineering and Construction Co., Ltd. signed the cooperation agreement. The document provides for the implementation of joint projects in a number of strategically important areas, including the organization of reagent production, recycling of secondary resources, and the extraction of precious metals from ore.
