The regional and national stages of the national professional skills competition "Creators of the New Uzbekistan" for the Presidential Prize, organized by the Agency for Vocational Education and the Agency for Youth Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, have concluded.

We are particularly pleased to note the successful performance of representatives from Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex. Electric and gas welders from the forge and welding shop of the Central Repair and Mechanical Plant, Husniddin Mamatkulov and Sanjar Bakirov, represented the plant with distinction and demonstrated excellent results. In their professional category, Husniddin Mamatkulov and Sanjar Bakirov took a distinguished second place in the regional stage of the competition. Our specialists also performed equally well at the national stage, where they took third place in the professional competition.

The awards ceremony for the winners of the first national professional skills competition in our country, "Creators of the New Uzbekistan," for the Presidential Prize was recently held at the “Humo Arena” complex in Tashkent.

More than 124,000 young people demonstrated their talents and professional abilities at the district and town stages of the competition. For many school graduates, participation in the competition marked the beginning of a new chapter in their lives, and 22,000 young men and women were given the opportunity to find employment, continue their education, or find their place in the labor market.

Based on the results of the competition, 120 participants who demonstrated the highest results in ten professional areas were recognized as winners and runners-up. The winners were awarded cash prizes at a ceremony.

In his congratulatory message to the competition participants, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan noted the urgent need to begin forming a national team from among the winners and participants who demonstrated high results and prepare it for a worthy performance at the WorldSkills International professional skills championship.

To achieve this goal, it is planned to attract leading domestic and foreign specialists, as well as provide the national team with modern equipment and the necessary training facilities.
