For the first month of this year, the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex fulfilled the task of exporting its products for 131%.

We remind that the products of AMMC are exported mainly to such countries as Turkey, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Bulgaria, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Poland, Tajikistan, the Netherlands, China. Also, the plant has mastered new markets: Spain, Austria, Singapore, Finland, the Republic of South Africa and Senegal.

In January 2023, the plant exported products worth USD 45.1 million.

In terms of products: copper products were exported to foreign consumers for USD 29.1 million (3.4 thousand tons), zinc products – USD 6.6 million (2.1 thousand tons) and other products for USD 9.4 million.

It is noteworthy that molybdenum products worth USD 8.8 million (126 tons) were exported to the Netherlands, the forecast in this direction was fulfilled for 180%.

Recently, the demand for rare metals and products from molybdenum and tungsten has been growing on the world market. It is worth noting that the plant began to receive tungsten from industrial waste from the Ingichka deposit located in the Samarkand region.
