+998 71 619 23 33Yesterday, the management of Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex (AMMC) adopted an order titled “On organizing a high-level Anti-Corruption Awareness Week at AMMC and widely celebrating the International Anti-Corruption Day – December 9.”
According to the order, the Central Office departments, services and divisions of AMMC, as well as the head of all structural units, are tasked with organizing and widely promoting events under the slogan “Combating corruption is a national duty and a matter of conscience for every patriotic citizen!”
Additionally, based on the order, an Action Plan and a schedule of “Open Days” to be held across all structural units and enterprises in the system were approved for the Central Office departments, services and structural unit leaders.
According to the Action Plan, in order to prevent potential corruption-related violations in AMMC’s structural units, round-table discussions, Open Day events, and seminars will be conducted among employees of the Central Office, as well as those of the structural units and enterprises.
In connection with the date, awareness activities will also be carried out through short films, social videos, special programs, broadcasts, podcasts and articles produced at the Central Office and various structural units of the system, highlighting the harms of corruption.
Furthermore, among the youth of AMMC’s structural units and enterprises, competitions will be held on the theme “Combating corruption is a nationwide duty and a matter of conscience for every patriotic citizen.” Categories include: “Best Article”, “Best Drawing”, “Best Presentation”, “Best Poem”, and “Best Social Video”, as well as the contests “Corruption Through the Eyes of Children”, and “Expert of Anti-Corruption Legislation”.
In honor of International Anti-Corruption Day – December 9, a mini football tournament will also be held among engineering-technical and managerial staff of the structural divisions of the Complex, which is expected to be an exciting event.
