Every year, on May 7, Uzbekistan celebrates the Day of Workers of Information and Communication Technologies.

At the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex , specialists in this field work actively and effectively, making a significant contribution to the development of the enterprise. Thanks to their efforts, modern information technologies and digital solutions are increasingly being introduced into production processes.

In honor of the professional holiday, a gala event was organized for industry workers at the Bakhor Hotel.

A congratulatory speech was given by the Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSC “Almalyk MMC” for Personnel and Social Affairs Sadi Shermatov. He congratulated the workers on their professional holiday, emphasized the importance of digitalization in improving the efficiency of the enterprise and expressed warm wishes to them.

As part of the event, ten best representatives of the industry were awarded letters of gratitude from the Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov. A number of active workers were awarded Certificates of Honor of the plant and valuable gifts.

Today, AMMC successfully operates such specialized divisions as the digitalization department, the project office for digital transformation and ERP implementation, as well as the production automation department. Each main division also has automated process control services.
