+998 71 619 23 33On the eve of the International Women's Day, March 8, and as part of the "Women's Recognition Month" celebrated nationwide from 15 February to 5 March, Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex has planned and will implement a series of festive and socially significant events.
In particular, the AMMC has approved a program of events that will include a tour of the Islamic Civilization Center for 50 of the Complex most active women.
On a charitable basis, 200 socially vulnerable women, as well as active female employees of the Complex, will be sent to theaters in the capital.
As part of the month, 200 socially vulnerable women and active female workers will participate in the festive gala concert "Mukaddasan, Ayol!", which will also be held in the capital.
During the month, AMMC will hold a ten-day campaign to protect women's health. As part of the program, according to the approved schedule, mobile medical examinations will be organized in structural divisions, covering approximately 2,000 women.
The program also includes open dialogues: the heads of all structural divisions will meet with women to discuss their achievements, challenges and suggestions.
On 1 March, in connection with the birthday of poetess Zulfiya, the competition called "Followers of Zulfiyahonim" will be held. Literary evenings and meetings with representatives of the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan will be organized in work collectives.
The program also includes an intellectual game called "Zakovat" for women, as well as film and theater days. As part of these events, films and theatrical productions dedicated to national values, respect for women, and issues of spiritual and moral education will be shown in the hall of the “Metallurg” Palace of Culture.
The Complex will implement the "100 Strong Women" social project, aimed at providing social and material support to women in need of protection, those who have lost a breadwinner, women with disabilities, and mothers with many children.
Additionally, a wellness campaign, "5,000 Steps for My Family's Health," will be held among the Complex female workers.
Thematic meetings and discussions are planned to further develop the activities of the existing women's volunteer group "Volunteers of AMMV" and the "Golden Hands of AMMC" club.
Furthermore, the program includes "Reading Mothers' Day at AMMC," the presentation of women's occupational safety work under the motto "Safe Work – Safe Life!", and informational and educational events aimed at protecting women's rights and legitimate interests.
