On February 20 of this year, an extended meeting was held at Railway Workshop No. 3 of the AMMC Industrial Rail Transport Department, dedicated to the dignified observance of the holy month of Ramadan and high-level preparations for the national holiday of Navruz.

The meeting was attended by Sadi Shermatov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Almalyk MMC” JSC for Personnel and Social Affairs, deputy heads of structural divisions for general issues, chairmen of trade union committees, representatives of the Youth Union, the Advisory Council on Women and Gender Equality, as well as specialists supervising the implementation of the national project “Yashil Makon”.

The focus is on intensification of landscaping and greening efforts expecting the holidays. In particular, issues related to improvement of sanitary conditions of assigned areas, planting of ornamental and fruit trees as part of the “Yashil Makon” project, expansion of green areas, and enhancement of the aesthetic appearance of production sites and adjacent territories were discussed in detail.

Responsible persons were set specific, targeted tasks for each assigned area. In his speech, S. Shermatov emphasized that the conscientious participation of every employee and manager in these benevolent initiatives is not only an official responsibility, but also a human duty to their hometown and the Complex team.

At the end of the meeting, the participants were presented with exemplary results of the work of the management team. Of particular interest was the greenhouse on the workshop grounds, where flower seedlings and ornamental plants are grown.

It’s worth noting that thousands of flowers grown in this greenhouse will soon adorn the Complex territory and city streets. Such practical steps not only contribute to the creation of a festive atmosphere, but also strengthen the environmental sustainability of the region.
