01 June 2026, 14:38 329

In pursuance of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated 24 April 2026, "On Approval of the Program of Measures to Improve Legal Culture in Society for 2026-2027," Order No. 52 of the Ministry of Mining and Geology, and the Order No. 700 of the AMMC, regular preventive measures continue to be carried out in the plant's structural divisions.

Regular meetings were held at Copper Processing Plant No. 3, the “Yoshlik I” mine management office, and the lime plant.

The events were attended by Jamshid Pardayev, the representative of the Committee on Religious Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Almalyk and the Adviser to the Mayor on religious issues; Gulnoza Sabriyeva, the specialist in the AMMC compliance department; and the officers of the AMMC Internal Affairs Department of the Tashkent Region Main Department of Internal Affairs.

The speakers noted that the principles of religious tolerance are provided in our country, and every citizen is guaranteed the right to freely practice any religion. At the same time, special attention was paid to the need to remain vigilant and resist to the influence of extremist movements disguised as religious slogans. Participants were reminded of the inadmissibility of visiting prohibited internet resources and interacting with extremist materials on social media.

Protection against fraud, the scale of which continues to grow, especially online, was also discussed. The participants were informed about the risks of online extortion, cybercrime, and illegal gambling, and were reminded of the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of personal data. It was emphasized that every employee must exercise caution not only when conducting financial transactions but also when using social media, as any illegal activity inevitably entails liability under the law.

"According to the experts, combating corruption is a task not only for the state but for society as a whole. Public oversight and a high level of legal awareness among citizens play a decisive role here," noted Gulnoza Sabrieva. "Corruption undermines the foundations of democracy and the rule of law, reduces public trust in government institutions, and leads to human rights violations. It hinders the development of a market economy and fair competition, and contributes to the monopolization of certain industries and activities. Corrupt practices create conditions for the illegal appropriation of budget funds on a large scale, worsen people's quality of life, exacerbate social inequality, and lead to an increase in the number of low-income citizens. Furthermore, corruption creates a favorable environment for organized crime, terrorism, and other offenses, entailing numerous negative consequences. The Address of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Oliy Majlis and the people of Uzbekistan dated 26 December 2025, took the state strategy for combating corruption to a qualitatively new level. The Address declared 2026 a year of "emergency" in the fight against corruption. This was a clear demonstration of the state's uncompromising approach to corruption. The fight against corruption has become a key focus of state policy, based on the systemic digitalization of processes and the prevention of conflicts of interest.
