The government of the country pays great attention to industrial cooperation, which can reduce import supplies through the development of import-substituting products by domestic manufacturers. To study demand and opportunities in the country, industry, regional and national fairs are held, providing an opportunity to identify areas of cooperation.

Based on this principle, several years ago, cooperation began between JSC “Almalyk MMC” and Andijan Mechanical Plant (AMP), which specializes in gondola cars and tanks. In 2022, for the first time in Uzbekistan, the production of a new type of specialized freight car, model 15-1482, was jointly mastered. In addition, AMP supplied the plant with 117 special tank cars used to transport explosives and sulfuric acid.

In continuation of cooperation within the framework of the Localization Program, Andijan Mechanical Plant, together with Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Combine, began practical work on the production of dump cars, widely used for the transportation of rocks (with a carrying capacity of 115 tons).

In November 2024, a memorandum of cooperation worth 534 billion UZS was signed between AMMC and JSC “Andijan Mechanical Plant”, and the Roadmap was approved. The project provides for the design and production of a 6-axle dump car type 2ВС-105 (Q-115), necessary for a mining enterprise. Specialists of the plant and JSC “Andijan Mechanical Plant” jointly carried out design and engineering work on the production of dump cars. The result of the cooperation was the first sample of a dump car, which was recently released. Now it will undergo industrial testing.

As part of the project, JSC “Andijan Mechanical Plant” plans to supply 196 such dump cars to the plant in 2025-2026. These dump cars, i.e. dump cars, are the main means of transport for transporting rocks from the plant's mines to processing plants.

Until now, this railway equipment was purchased abroad. Now, as part of the Localization Program, dump cars will be manufactured in our country. Experts note that the currently manufactured 6-axle dump cars of the 2ВС-105 (Q-115) type are 1.5 times cheaper than foreign ones.

Established connections between domestic enterprises will allow some to expand the range of products and reduce imported equipment supplies for others. Mutually beneficial cooperation will continue.
