A woman is the adornment of life, the light of the home and the living embodiment of love and warmth. Her image encompasses all the beauty of the world, the most subtle and delicate colors of nature. For it is said: a country where women are honored and respected has a bright future and high goals.

The first holiday of spring – International Women’s Day – is celebrated throughout the country with special solemnity and sincere warmth. In honor of this significant date, a celebratory event was held at the Metallurg Palace of Culture for women working at the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex.

Opening the celebration, Senator Abdulla Khursanov, Chairman of the Board of Almalyk MMC JSC, noted the value of peace and the importance of preserving it. He emphasized that it is precisely in a peaceful and calm country that such joyful holidays take place, and that attention and care for women in Uzbekistan are elevated to the level of state policy. In his speech, the Complex head also emphasized that even in the most difficult areas of the production chain, the role of women is truly invaluable. He expressed his sincere gratitude to all the workers and heartily congratulated them on the holiday.

During the event, 50 women working in various departments of the Complex, who make a significant contribution to the development of the industry through their dedicated work, were ceremoniously awarded the AMMC Certificate of Honor. These awards are not only recognition of their professional achievements, but also symbol of deep respect for women whose dedication and responsibility serve as an example for many.

The creative part of the event also gave the audience many vivid emotions. The on-stage performance groups of the Metallurg Palace of Culture have prepared a varied concert program and stage plays dedicated to mothers and the vital role they play in every person’s life. The soulful songs of the popular singer Bakhrom Nazarov created a special festive atmosphere.
