The Occupational Safety Department regularly conducts preventive measures at the structural divisions of Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex. The latest such event was held at the Industrial Railway Transport Department.

The event was attended by B. Kuchkarov, Chief State Health and Safety Inspector of the State Labor Inspectorate of the Employment and Poverty Reduction Department of Tashkent Region; S. Juraev, Head of the Occupational Safety Department at the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex; Z. Berdikulov, Deputy Head of the Almalyk Industrial Safety Inspectorate; S.Manazarov, Head of the Industrial Railway Transport Department; key specialists; the Chairman of the Trade Union Committee; and the employees of departments responsible for health and safety.

The detailed investigation was also conducted into the causes of the accident that occurred on 21 January this year in the wagon facility of Industrial Railway Transport Department S.Manazarov presented the report on the incident, detailing its circumstances and the measures taken to prevent similar incidents in the future. The circumstances and causes of the accident were discussed with all employees of the department's workshops, services, and divisions. Employees operating lathes attended unscheduled training and unscheduled occupational safety knowledge assessment.

Furthermore, based on the relevant order, unscheduled 40-hour advanced training courses were organized for 43 lathe and milling machine operators at the engineering school. The training has now been completed, and examinations are scheduled for next week. Additionally, to strengthen monitoring of compliance with occupational health, safety, and process discipline requirements, an additional CCTV camera has been installed in the mechanical section.

During the event, B. Kuchkarov also thoroughly explained the main provisions of the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 819 dated 24 December 2025, "On Approval of Certain Provisions in the Sphere of Occupational Safety."
