(+998 71) 619-23-33Today, February 25, in the Farish district of the Jizzakh region, the construction of a new lime plant was launched, which is being built as part of the investment project for the development of the “Yoshlik I” deposit.
The ceremony to start construction of this facility was attended by the management of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex, official representatives of the Chinese company Jiangsu Pengfei Group Co. Ltd., the contractor for the project, and veterans of labor.
Speakers at the event emphasized that the new plant plays an important role in the production chain of the plant, as well as its importance for providing employment to the local population and economic development of the region.
After this, in the presence of the management of the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex, representatives of the contractor and honored guests, a symbolic time capsule with a message for future generations was laid. From this moment, the construction of the plant officially started.
The new lime plant will provide the necessary reagent - lime - for the technological processes of copper concentrators No. 1, No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4, copper smelter and zinc plants, as well as the Angren, Chadak and Khandizinsky mine administrations.
The production capacity of the enterprise will be 2,200 tons of products per day and 737 thousand tons per year.
Raw materials for production will be mined at the “Chimkurgon-1” and “Chimkurgon-2” limestone deposits located in the Farish district of the Jizzakh region.
It is important to note that with the launch of the plant, 323 new jobs will be created.
