On 9th July this year, the Industrial Rail Transport Department held the event dedicated to improving the Complex operational efficiency, as well as to reviewing the initiatives and proposals of young specialists for their further implementation in production.

The event was attended by Feruza Khamidova, First Deputy Minister of Mining and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan; Bekhzod Mamatov, First Deputy Chairman of the Board for Financial Issues, Transformation, and Privatization of JSC Almalyk MMC; heads of the Complex structural divisions; specialists; and active young people.

The participants discussed ways to reduce production costs, further improve operational efficiency, rationalize energy use, improve production processes, and support mechanisms for innovative ideas and initiatives from young employees.

During the meeting, young specialists presented scientific developments, innovative projects, and practical proposals aimed at improving the Complex operational efficiency. Each initiative was thoroughly reviewed by experts, who provided practical recommendations for its improvement and possible implementation in production, and expressed their willingness to provide the necessary support.

Following the main event, the separate meeting with AMMC youth took place. In an open dialogue format, young specialists had the opportunity to directly discuss their ideas and projects with management and relevant experts.

The presented developments were comprehensively analyzed. The specialists identified potential areas for improvement and shared practical recommendations to improve the effectiveness of the proposed solutions. The young employees' initiative was highly praised, and the meeting itself served as an additional incentive for the further development of new projects and the active participation of young people in the company's development.

Events such as these are becoming an important platform for supporting the intellectual potential of young specialists, implementing innovative solutions in production, and further improving the plant's operational efficiency.

For reference: AMMC is currently implementing energy conservation projects in six key areas. To date, the company has implemented 132 projects in the areas of technology, energy, mechanics, digitalization, transport and logistics, and metallurgy. Their implementation will result in annual savings of over 457.3 billion UZS, as well as a reduction in consumption of 71 million kWh of electricity, 276,000 cubic meters of natural gas, and 13 million cubic meters of process water. These results are a key factor in reducing the cost of production.

Furthermore, 62 projects have already been fully implemented and have proven their high economic efficiency. Thanks to their implementation, the company has managed to save an additional 93.3 billion UZS.
